Friday, September 3 - It's Finally Friday! I am so happy today. I was just told that I am now an "official volunteer" for the iPrep Academy. I helped the ot her volunteers paint the mural by using my tail (remember it turned blue?) The mural is all done now and is beautiful. You should come see it.

Thursday, September 2 - I am looking forward to a holiday weekend. Tomorrow is Finally Friday and then my parents will be spending a fun THREE days with me. No work on Monday. Yippee!
Wednesday, September 1 - Happy Birthday Katrina!
Today we went to Miami Beach Senior for a meeting with Katrina. We discussed this year's goals for Katrina's Project PAWS-Miami and outlined some of the yearlong activities and events.
We will visit the following schools this school year:
Primary Learning Center (my school) and Ojus Elementary - Katrina will help me teach a lesson on kindness
Andover Middle School - Katrina will give the students an introduction to Project PAWS-Miami and teach them about animal abuse.
Miami Beach Senior and iPrep Academy (across the hallway from my school) - Katrina will give the students an overview of her mission and discuss ways that senior high school students can get involved in Project PAWS-Miami.
Our first community event will be held September 25th from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Publix Supermarket, 1045 Dade Blvd., Miami Beach, FL 305.524.4621. Come visit our awareness table to learn how you can grow your inner seeds of kindness and get to know more about animal abuse so that you too can help keep all animals well and safe.

I smile when I am in school.
Monday, August 30 - It's Moody Monday, true, but I am thinking back on what a wonderful week I had last week and it makes me smile.
I went back to school last Friday for the PLC First Week Meet and Greet. We sang the Sequoia Smile Song and I was surprised to see how many of my new classmates already knew the words to the song. That made me so happy.
When I was walking around the building to get to the front door of the PLC I saw Tony Mendoza (the artist) finishing the wall mural for the iPrep Academy. It is really beautiful - a very happy looking wall painting.
I now have five classes at the PLC this year. That's a lot of work for me but I love it!!! From now on I will be spending two days a month at the PLC to make sure I spend enough time in each classroom.
This year I will doing more work with my friend, Katrina Rios, and Project PAWS. We are going to have a planning meeting on Wednesday, September 1st, so I can organize my schedule for the year. As an extra bonus, I am bringing a surprise to Katrina on Wednesday because it is Katrina's birthday.

Thursday, August 26 - My happiness bubbles are starting to stir deep inside of me. I am so happy that tomorrow is Finally Friday! I am going to school tomorrow.
Monday, August 23 - It's Moody Monday. Ho Hum. Today is the first day of school and I am still at home waiting to go to school to see my classmates. The good news is - I am going to my PLC school this Friday. Yeah! I hope my friends are reading my Chronicle.

Sunday, August 22 - There is a new high school in my parents' office building, right across the hallway from my Primary Learning Center. It is called the iPrep Academy. The school is starting with 11th grade only and tomorrow is the first day of school! Students at the iPrep Academy will study using technology and will also participate in internships. Every student will get a laptop. Isn't that cool? They can visit my website and learn about character education.
A big part of iPrep studies will also involve completing community-based projects. I hope I get to visit there. Do you think they will want to study with a therapy dog like me? Everyone needs to study character education.
I forgot to tell you - the iPrep students will eat lunch in a cybercafe. Whatever that is, it sounds really cool.
Well, what else is new? I had to go to the office with my parents yesterday. It's the weekend before school begins and they need to work with everyone in the office in getting schools staffed with the very best teachers for the first day of school. We also went to see the mural being painted for the iPrep Academy. Victor Alonso, Larry Feldman, and my other friends joined together in painting a beautiful picture, really big, covering the whole wall. I tried to help by painting with my tail but that didn't work. My tail just got blue. I loved working this weekend. I am so happy school starts tomorrow!
I had a nice soothing oatmeal bath today to get me ready for the start of the new school year. I am not sure when I am going to school next week but it will probably be on Friday.
