Sequoia, just wanted to let you know I love all the updates to your website (I have not been on in awhile). I especially like the songs that are playing on each of the different sections –the one that plays on the home page is beautiful! It was nice to see you again during the Miami Corporate Run encouraging the two-legged runners as they passed. I also enjoy sharing your website link with fellow dog lovers, especially those who can benefit from your simple philosophies about life. Sometimes we just need to be reminded what’s important. Thank you for sharing! Suzanne
A Letter From Mr. Germain

I would like to thank you for your appearance at DASH. It was truly a special occasion, and your patience and kindness showed through clearly. I can't say I know that many dogs that can model as well as you did, and my students certainly appreciated it as well. I will be posting some of their drawings on your website soon. We look forward to your next visit and continuing our drawings! Thank you!

Yesterday you helped me overcome a fear that I have had inside of me for about 33 years. Let me tell you what meeting you meant to me.
When you came to work to visit the teachers at the Miami-Dade County Public Schools’ Primary Learning Center the other day you then came into our office. Well, I am very afraid of dogs so I was shaking when I first saw you. Your dad told me to come into his office and just sit in a chair and try to relax. You then came up to me and sat beside me and I stroked your head a little bit. Something magical happened next.
When you lied down near my feet and simply put your head down, I began to relax and my fear was released. Sitting next to you and stroking your head helped me so much that I felt no more fear. You did not bark or follow me. You just rested beside me like an old friend.
I walked away feeling that I am more grateful to be able to be in a room with a large dog and not be scared. You helped me learn how to trust others.
Thanks (from your new fearless friend),
Dee Dee
DEAR SEQUOIA: I LOVED YOUR WEBSITE. IT WAS SO COOL. I CLICKED ON ALL THE LINKS. I HOPE THAT I GET TO MEET YOU ONE DAY. RECEIVE A BIG HUG FROM ME. I CLEAN YOUR MOMMY AND DADDY'S TEETH.

Hi Sequoia, I have to say - I Love the web page. You have made alot of people smile and look at life in a refreshing way. As you see, I am flying now. Its my other job. I like working at Daruma more but I don't have alot of clients now. That is my goal - to be grounded and have alot of happy clients! Looking forward to seeing you soon at Daruma. You made alot of people happy that day! Michelle
Dear Sequoia:
I can't tell you how pleased I was to see my photo on your website. I consider it quite an honor. I wish we could have had Molly with us. One of these days I will have Molly meet you and perhaps you can teach Molly to be calm like you, and then she could also do some therapy work. Molly loves to run the beach, especially with other dogs, but Molly doesn't know she's a retriever. She's afraid of the water. Looking forward to seeing you again.
Love and hugs, MJ
Hi Sequoia
Daddies David and Patricio took me to the Winterfest Boat Parade in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. We saw lots of boat all decorated for the Holidays. As always, people were stopping us all the time to take my picture which was driving me crazy. A man from the Sun Sentinel newspaper took too many pictures of me but at one point I just said, "enough is enough" so I stuck out my tongue at him. I thought I would share this picture with you. Also, I wanted to thank you for my Christmas gift; I love the treats!!
Happy Holidays.
Your friend, Winston
Sequoia,
Treasure is finally home. I am glad she is home because it helps me from missing you too much. You and Treasure are my best buddies, but you fetch much better than Treasure. Treasure is too fast and she can win all of our races. Sometimes she lets me win, but not much. Treasure can carry two tennis balls at one time. I don't know why she does this as you can't chase two tennis balls at one time. Every smart dog knows this, but she still does it anyway.
We are going to go to Bark in the Park. Do you want to go? The main website for the golden retriever club is www.evergladesgrc.org. If you go to the newsletters and October's newsletter you can read the Bark in the Park flyer. My mom says Sally Anne may be bringing the puppies for us to play with. I hope so, I like puppies.
The park is really big and you can chase lots of tennis balls until you are tired. I hope to see you there, but if you cannot go please come by sometime so we can visit and play.
Woofs to you,
Dalton
Dear Sequoia,
How are you? Remember me your dog-sitter? When you have a chance, tell your dad to call me this weekend, I have a question for him. My students are waiting for you to come over... I am sending you another picture of one of my Pre-K teachers with her new dog so you can add as well to your page...

Hey Sequoia, it's Diesel! We haven't met yet but I have heard only amazing things about you! I must admit I am a tad bit jealous you have your own website. I am a eye-pleasing pup with a youthful spirit ;) dogbook me.
HEY HEY HEY! It's Abby time! We need to hang out asap! Maybe go catch a few balls & run around where air & grass come free! But first I need to be trained - my mom rules here. Alrighty well, we'll talk to you later.
Hi - It's Princess. Sorry I didn't send you my photo but you can find me on facebook - Yes, I have a dogbook on facebook too (go check it out)!

Sequoia - Thank you so much for spreading the word about Dream One World, too. With love and gratitude, Kathy Chism (Ditto's Mom)

Dear Cindy and Sequoia, Wow! Thank you both so much! I am proud to be featured on your site! Not sure why you thought my name might be Armstrong, but I am "Ditto" the dog (short for "I love you, too" if you saw the movie "Ghost"), and my human Mom's name is Kathy. My friend Gordon is the artist for the "My PetLines" business. Anyway, I really, really appreciate your help, and feel free to write to me any time! Love and licks, Ditto Ditto Chism, Owner
Hello Sequoia: We had such a great morning at the beach with you. We love the pictures. Did you see your mom caught a bird in one of the shots? How cool is that. We also looked at your pictures from North Carolina. We are really jealous. We wish our mom would take us there to hike the trails and run in the mountains. I guess for now we'll have to settle for the beach. We really like that too, so thanks for inviting my mom because she never takes us there. Hope to see you next week. Obi promises to behave better.

Hi Sequoia - This is your friend and neighbor, Sonny. I want to thank your mom and dad for offering to take me for walks this weekend. Unfortunately, my mom has a rib fracture and it is painful for her to bend or lift things. Do you remember I am at Dr. Richter's recovering from minor surgery right now? I am wearing the E-collar right now so I don't try to pull out my stitches. I think by Wednesday my E-Collar will be taken off and I will be on my way HOME. Hope to play with you soon. Sonny
Hi Sequoia - We are so happy you have found such a great home to call your own. Everyone at the Circus sends you their LOVE!! We think you are a very special dog with a higher purpose in life than being just a show dog! You are here to show us the true meaning of unconditional LOVE.

We are the neighbors of your foster parents, and I must say you found yourself a great home. We are so happy to see you so happy and living the life you are so deserving of! We also love your website, and the song you picked was just perfect. We will be looking forward to your future vacations and pictures.
With Love,

Letter from Ditto?
Dear Sequoia - Danny (your dad's haircutter) sent me your website, which is so cool!!! I love it... He also thought you might like what I am doing out here in California to help rescue animals. Please check out my website at www.mypetlines.com and let me know what you think, OK? Thanks! Please feel free to share the site with all your favorite animal and human friends, too! As it is a fairly new business for me, I will be so grateful! I am glad through the Internet we can be friends. We are lucky dogs, aren't we?!
Take care, and keep having fun.
Love and licks, Ditto
